Barnard Castle is the new Lourdes. Hundreds are arriving, throwing their spectacles away, then driving home shouting “I’m cured”

I rarely tweet about politics. Today has been an exception. Because Johnson, Cummings and all the rest of the lying, arrogant bastards are arrogantly telling us “Do as I say you common twats, not as I do,because I’m superior. They boil my piss. #ihatethem

I’ve never been interested in politics until now. Two things I hate, lies and injustice. These people provide both in huge amounts. I can’t be uninterested any more. They are ruining my life and the country I represented.

I was born in 1957 and I’ve never experienced a PM as atrocious as Boris.

He's always wanted to have the title of PM, but never wanted the work. I cannot think of a PM in my lifetime (since 81) who would've handled this worse.

The 100 was supposed to attract a new audience, how, I’ve no idea. Instead its pissed off ardent cricketer supporters and devalued the teams they support. It has also undermined existing competitions and sponsors. Royal London must be well pissed off

If anyone blames Ben Stokes, they don't understand cricket.

I see Katie Hopkins’ account ha been permanently suspended for hate speech. Good. If they suspend people for lying our PM and govt will have all of their accounts deleted.

A fitting end to the series. 3-1 to England would have hidden the true value of India. 2-2 is for me, the fairest result. Well played both teams, a magnificent series.

I’m delighted to say I’ll be working with @DurhamCricket on two fronts. With the Foundation as a mental health ambassador, running work shops, talks, etc. As a coach/mentor to the players and coaching staff. I’m excited!
