- Naruto is the only manga where we actually see the side characters all the time and they actually have depth and and progression in the story Kishimoto doesnt introduce a side character then neglects it for 700 chapters then just brings it back for the MC plot
Other manga: side character gets used once and is never seen again One piece: side character still relevant even 700 chapters after their appearance
