Devastated by my pal Stan's passing. He was a childhood inspiration, an instructor to me when I was just getting started and a genuinely sweet man. Will miss him terribly.

I'm a cartoonist.
- They tell me the old man turns 80 today but every time I sit down to draw him, I feel like that little boy again.

- Rest In Peace Denny O’Neil. I first became aware of him reading the Batman comics he made with Neil Adams. These stories opened up the wider world of classic adventure for me.
- I lost my second father. Neal’s death isn’t just a loss, it’s a call to action. His entire career could be summed up with these words: We have to aim higher. We can always do better.
