    Welcome to Scotland. An elderly woman has been arrested for standing outside an abortion facility. The country in recent days has just let over 300 prisoners out early because the jails are overcrowded, yet still have time for this. Shame on our country.

    As the days get shorter and the nights become colder, for anyone who requires a winter coat/jacket, please visit the front railings of St. Augustine's Church, Coatbridge this weekend. Each coat is labelled with a size and is free to take for anyone who needs a warm winter coat.

    Please pray for the repose of the soul of Archbishop Philip Tartaglia who sadly died this morning. We pray for the intercession of St Mungo, patron saint of Glasgow whose feast day we celebrate today. May he watch over the clergy & people of the Archdiocese at this sad time.
