    We are aware of a video that depicts the abuse of a cat. We thank everyone for contacting our department with the video. It has been determined that the incident took place outside our city and we are working with the appropriate jurisdiction to find the cat and the suspect.

    Community Update- The demonstration at the Jesse Turner Center on 06/01/20 remained peaceful and did not lead to any type of criminal activity.  All of those involved also adhered to the City of Fontana curfew of 6:00pm to sunrise.  @FontanaPD #fontanapd #vision4safety

    Officers located a snake & moments later it got lost inside the unit. Days later, a different officer got the shock the of his life when the snake popped out to back him on a call. He parked and tried to apprehend the snake but it slithered back into the unit out of sight.

    Great police work as an Officer recognized this vehicle being involved in mail theft from a social media post yesterday. Driver was detained and stolen mail and unregistered firearm recovered.

    Over the weekend, a Patrol Officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for vehicle code violations. The Officer developed probable cause to search the vehicle after contacting the driver. During the interior search approx. 100 lbs of suspected methamphetamine were located.
