- It only took me two years of birding to get a real good look at a Cooper's Hawk
- A couple months ago, I saw a pair of Blue-gray Gnatcatchers mobbing a Red-tailed Hawk. Not unusual. But then the female gnatcatcher LANDED on the hawk's head!
- I've been hoping to witness this ever since I saw the parents building the nest over two months ago. And it came out even better than I hoped for. THREE BABY PILEATED WOODPECKERS BEING FED BY MAMA!
