- Replying to @CahairOKane1Don’t start me on this again. Too many clubs have it all wrong - the success of a club at underage should be based on player retention, not winning U8 and U10 tournaments. Unfortunately too many children from the age of 8 know where they rank in the eyes of their coaches.
- Celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary with a romantic meal for 6 in lovely Wassenaar! Could be a hairy ride home!
- Delighted to have achieved Senior Fellowship status of @AdvanceHE Thanks to my mentor @StephanieDunle2 and @sfloyd1964 @DavidBarrBmena and Barbara Skinner for their support and guidance through the process.
- Congratulations to Derry. Fantastic performance. Enjoyed the jubilee celebrations. #98ulsterchamps
- It was a great day and thanks again to my brilliant supervisors @ProfLindaClarke Dr Barbara Skinner and Dr Alan McCully.Congratulations to our School of Education PhD graduates who finally had their big day yesterday @AGrovesCampbell @JayneFinlay @FlynnMc 👏👏👏
- What an occasion today. Unbelievable atmosphere. Clifford and Walsh a joy to watch.
- Replying to @LindaFStewartThis shows a lack of understanding as to how children learn. P1-2 is foundation stage for a reason- that’s where the foundations for future learning are laid. Most P6 pupils can work independently whereas foundation stage and P3 children cannot. Therefore, it makes sense to me.
- Disappointing day was brightened up by a surprise visit from @Conor_Glass with two mini @HawthornFC balls for boys!
- Replying to @CahairOKane1It would be fine if the coaches were not adopting a win at all costs mentality which convinces children that it’s life or death. Healthy competition is good. Unfortunately, I have witnessed too many situations where the competition at underage is unhealthy.
- Final practical dance workshop with PGCE PE group. Thanks to Mrs Doran for facilitating the session. A fantastic group to work with. They will no doubt be utilising these moves tonight at the PGCE formal!
