I worked on lighting this sequence toward the end of the project and coincidentally, it felt like closing a chapter in more ways than one. Proud of this last shot, we took our time making sure it felt just right.

Few animations have shaped my career like this one: “Orgesticulanismus” by Mathieu Labaye (2008). A powerful tribute to his father about movement, freedom, and the inner world of someone living with disability. Highly recommend watching this short.
I was lucky to be part of the keylighting process for this sequence. I especially enjoyed lighting the first shot, capturing moments of beauty, strength, and kindness.
