Defending English dubs on the grounds of nostalgia is like saying we shouldn't have deprogrammed the Hitler Youth because teaching them that Nazi ideology is wrong, even if forcibly, would be ruining their nostalgia, what they knew from the earliest stages of their lives.

Or rather, it's because Japan actually has a larger and more competitive industry for voice acting than all other countries. I mean, Japan, and nowhere else, has schools specialized for voice acting.

Is it not abusive for localizers to make unnecessary changes because they think the rest of us are dependent on them and are obligated to forgive their sins without question?

At this point, localizers are no different from the Uvalde police. They refuse to do their job when called on, and when they're subsequently called out for that, they refuse to give straightforward answers or admit to any wrongdoing.

"How Do I Start Voice Acting?" Are you in Japan, or at least, are you prepared to go to Japan to do it? No? Then you're shit out of luck. The world has no use for anyone outside Japan to do that job, with how supreme Japan is at it.

Alright, Mr. Conroy had his fun, but now it's time for his roles to be entrusted to those who truly appreciate the craft of voice acting. Give the Dark Knight the honor of being voiced by a Japanese voice actor, not some bum of an English voice actor.

It's the same as saying that serial killers "work hard" to build a body count and not get caught, like the "working hard" part automatically makes it noble.
