    Not sure which is weirder: the fact that someone brought an actual baby to an 11.50am screening of Oppenheimer a couple of days ago, or the fact that said baby was glued to the screen throughout, didn’t cry and only coughed a couple of times in THREE HOURS.

    Sad to report that the fun thing that happened in the Cannes screenings of #Megalopolis - someone coming on with a microphone halfway through + asking Adam Driver a question - has officially been dropped for public screenings. They’ve edited in the question + it’s now offscreen.

    As much as I loved Kinds of Kindness yesterday, that still didn’t give me the festival high you get when you see a truly great film. I’d been chasing that high since I got here, and I finally got it from Emilia Perez. #Cannes #Cannes2024
