- Congratulations to High School Principal Karl Shininger, named Southeast Missouri Middle School Principal of the Year. He received the honor for his work at Windsor Middle School last year.
- Because of the extreme cold temperatures forecast for tomorrow, the Festus R-6 School District will NOT be in session tomorrow.
- We are excited to welcome our new teachers to the district this year. They began three days of orientation this morning. Welcome Bridget Sopher-Smith (Elem. Special Education), Katie Shininger (2nd grade), Jessica Ecker (H.S. Health/6th Grade P.E.) & Hilary Cox (5th grade).
