I always used my dad as an excuse. I’d tell them to put it in writing so I could call him. Suddenly the charges went down. So odd! I plan on continuing to do that even though my dad passed away in January. They don’t know. And it’ll protect my wallet.

😂 When I watched “Fiddler on the roof” the first time I was 9. When the movie finished I told my parents I was converting to Judaism. We’re Catholics. 😂 My dad laughed and said, “Okay, can you wait at least until you’re 18 to be sure?” He was totally ok with it. ❤️

Irony is that governments will not issue birth or death certificates to stillborns or miscarriages, and churches don’t consider them as having existed because they weren’t born! They contradict themselves!

Not my nuns. Quite the opposite. But it was Miami in the 80s. So they would have been ostracized. But they were really quite liberal. We girls could do everything the boys could, and more and better. They gave me confidence I didn’t get at home.
