Everyone in Fenor Club is thrilled and very proud to see Sean Mackey selected to start for Waterford against Tipperary in Tuesday's Munster Minor Hurling Championship tie at Fraher Field. Sean, who won't be 16 till later this month, is a credit to his family, coaches & community.

- Sweet. Forty years ago Waterford were on the receiving end of the mother and father of all hidings from Cork in a Munster final. That won't happen again in a hurry. And consider this: there are 259 GAA clubs in Cork; Waterford has 50. Well done to Liam Cahill et al. Now, kick on.I love watching this #Waterford team! Pace, strength, spirit and so many GOALS! That Stephen Bennett goal is going to keep me awake! I can’t wait for the championship to start! #GAABeo #CORvWAT
- No minor miracle in Lemybrien tonight. First Munster win since 2019. #Waterford football can have a vibrant future in the right hands & if given an equal footing across city and county. Well done to all involved, including Fenor's Dylan Farrell who came on in the closing stages.Another morale boosting result for Waterford football Paddy McCarthy & Joe Brennan outstanding for the minors tonight
- Ninety years ago. Fenor club (which played football only up until the mid-sixties) will be fielding teams in both codes for the first time in nearly a decade in 2022. #Waterford #GAA
- Make no mistake: there's something stirring in @WaterfordGAA football. Well done to everyone involved (including our own Richard Lynch, No. 22). @PaulShankey is doing a mighty job. What a day in Portlaoise! 👍💪💯⚪️🔵🏐 what a brilliant end to the season with a great victory over Longford in Rd. 3 of the Tailteann Cup, a great group who've put in massive shift, delighted for all the panel ⚪️🔵 @WaterfordGAA @WaterfordGAACG @west_waterford @EastDeiseGAA
- Fenor GAA Cub presentation to three members who were starting picks for the @WaterfordGAA Minors in this year's @MunsterGAA Championships, namely Sean Mackey (Hurling) and Ollie Buck & Darragh Murphy (Football). Well done again lads.
- Tomorrow sees Fenor's maiden appearance in the @MunsterGAA Club JFC vs @FiriesGAA. With Kerry winning 19 provincial titles since the competition began in '01, we are rank outsiders, but it's a great experience for our lads, who've done us proud. TICKETS: bit.ly/firies-v-fenor
- Brilliant stuff from all involved with Clanna Gael in winning the @WaterfordGAA Div.2 Minor #Hurling title in some style vs. Portlaw/Ballyduff tonight - a real team effort. Credit to the entire panel from @ButlerstownGAA /@gaadunhill / @FenorGAA for their commitment. Enjoy lads.
- MEN FOR ALL SEASONS A big thank you to O'Neill Plumbing for sponsoring 10 new footballs (O'Neills All-Irelands, naturally) as Fenor reinstates its dual-club status this season. The three brothers – Eoin, Wally & Tom – have been ever-presents with Fenor since the '90s. #Waterford
- The evergreen Jim Halley, all smiles (and plenty of miles) after starting his 26th successive season at adult level with Fenor as our Junior Footballers took on the Waterford Under-20s in a challenge at Lemybrien last night. Some man for one man. #GAA
- A proud picture for the Parish, Clanna Gael and Na Gaeil. Full details (+more photos) here of our representatives on the @WaterfordGAA Minor Football team to play Clare on Thursday, namely Darragh Murphy & Ollie Buck (Fenor) & Simon Burns (@gaadunhill): facebook.com/fenorgaa/posts…
- Goals by Dessie Hutchinson (grandson of the late Paddy Flavin, long-time Fenor groundsman and President) and Harry Ruddle (the ultimate hero of the hour) see @ballygunnerHc achieve the Holy Grail. Congrats to all involved from Fenor GAA Club. #HISTORY #Waterford #GAA
- Very sad news. But what a remarkable life and legacy. We will always appreciate this. RIP Micheál Ó Muircheartaigh. In Dec 2015, Micheál Ó Muircheartaigh (then 85) drove, in dense fog, from Kerry to Fenor, #Waterford to launch our club history book. He drove on to Dublin at 1am after hours of autographs & photos. He wouldn't take a cent. And to think he was confined by #RTÉ most of his career.
