Is something wrong with the ESPN radar guns? Cause I know all these travel and college coaches are obsessed with 65+ MPH, yet 90% of the pitchers I’ve seen in the SUPER REGIONALS are throwing upper 50’s to low 60’s 🤔🤔

Currently watching @FSU_Softball vs FAMU. Currently, the top speed that I’ve seen from the FSU pitcher is 59MPH. Tell me again how you have to be throwing 65+ MPH to play at a top D1 school?

The @PGFnetwork championship is going on right now. The 2 best teams in the country! And the majority of pitches thrown haven’t even hit 60MPH. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: SPEED ISNT THE MOST IMPORTANT! Spin and movement is far more effective! #softball #fastpitch

I LITERALLY CANNOT RETWEET THIS ENOUGH. And as a side note: outs do not equal JUST strikeouts. Pop up’s, ground balls, these are all outs. Give me a pitcher who produces a ton of outs and has a low ERA over a pitcher throwing 70 who gets rocked every day

A pitcher's job is to get outs, no matter how its done. Too many coaches obsess over speed not realizing the best pitchers aren't always the fastest ones. If you can't win with the pitcher throwing ground balls, coach your defense better!

Uncommitted 2025 @_rileynelson22 Riley can nail spots with her fastball, huge speed difference for her changeup, & has TRUE COMMAND of rise, screw, curve & backdoor curve. She can also adjust her rise to ANY height! COACHES you are missing out big time if she’s not on your radar

2025 @abbycarr2025 pitch command from her lesson today!! Abby has been clocked consistently at 65MPH in games, with a 17+ MPH speed difference in her changeup, amazing command of her curve and backdoor curve and we are adding in a drop!! She’s the real deal 🔥🔥🔥
