    A6: New research in the @JAHA_AHA suggests that low dose aspirin even 3x a week may reduce events (cardiac death and heart attack) by up to 46% in people with high Lp(a) and no previous events. Speak to your health care provider to see if aspirin is right for you. #KnowLpa

    Dietary cholesterol, found only in foods from animals, has a LOWER impact on blood #cholesterol levels than #saturatedfats – meaning foods like shellfish, have more cholesterol than red meat, but are a healthier choice since they are lower in saturated fats. #WellnessWednesday
