- In 1990, a badly installed window blew out of a BA flight from the UK to Spain, causing the captain to be sucked halfway out at an altitude of 17,000 feet. The crew had to cling on to the captain's legs for over 30 minutes while emergency landing. All survived.
- In 2010, Gareth Williams, a British MI6 spy, was found dead at his London flat with his decomposing body in the bathtub, padlocked inside a bag. Police ruled his death as "accidental" concluding he died by getting into the bag on his own and accidentally locking himself inside.
- Orcas can weigh 8 tons and jump 15 feet out of the water.
