    FWCS will provide free breakfast & lunch for children at ALL elementary schools starting Tuesday, March 17. Meals are available by walk-up/drive-up for all kids, regardless of the school they attend, ages birth through high school from 10:30-1:30 daily. Children MUST be present.

    Because of the expected dangerously cold temperatures, all FWCS schools and District offices will be CLOSED on Wednesday, Jan. 30. We will continue to monitor the forecast and make a decision tomorrow for Thursday. Please stay inside and stay safe during this extreme weather.

    FWCS is closed today because of worsening weather conditions. Our last day of school remains June 3. After five closures, the state reduces the requirement to making up one day for every two closures. As this is our seventh closure, we do not have to make up the day.

    All FWCS Schools and District Offices will be closed again on Thursday, Jan. 31. We expect District Offices to reopen Friday and will monitor conditions for students' return over the next 24 hours. With these closures, we will now be in session May 3 and May 17.
