- Can you imagine lifting the toliet seat and finding this? Today Engine 13 responded to this exact call. Upon arrival the owner stated when they went to use the restroom they found the lizard in the toliet . Our crews took the lizard outside and released him without harm! #Media
- Firehouse 29 had a startling surprise this morning. As they walked around the truck they found a coyote wandering through the bay. Not sure who was startled more as they ran in opposite directions. This station is located in a dense urban neighborhood about a mile from the beach

- Before dawn, FLFR crews assembled on Broward Blvd and SW 1 Ave to hang a large American Flag as a tribute showing that FLFR will Never Forget the tragic events of 9/11! #September11 #NeverForget #911Remembered #FortLauderdale
- FLFR extinguishing two fires after a boat exploded at the Lauderdale Marina. A total of six people injured. We transported five to area hospitals, three with traumatic injuries. The sixth was missing in the water and located by BSO after a lengthy search, deceased unfortunately.
- Monday Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue was dispatched to a pass out. Upon arrival they found an 80 year old veteran suffering from heat exhaustion in his yard. They treated the man and once his medical emergency was over the crew stepped in and finish cutting his grass!#firefighters
00:00 - While on a morning walk in Melrose Park, neighbors were surprised when they heard barking coming from a storm drain. They immediately called 911 and crews arrived to find a female dog shaking in the pipe. The dog was quickly rescued and taken to the Humane Society of Broward.
00:00 - Monday morning FLFR crews responded to this poor little puppy’s paw getting stuck in the bathtub drain. Thankfully crews got it out without injuries. #puppyrescue #puppies #rescue
- BEACH ADVISORY: Due to an unknown oily substance found along our shoreline, Ocean Rescue lifeguards are telling beachgoers to stay out of the water from Riomar Street south to Port Everglades inlet. Similar reports from beaches to our north. We notified @USCGSoutheast.

- Today’s is a Father’s Day that our crew from Station 46 will never forget. This morning they delivered a healthy baby boy while enroute to the hospital. 🍼 congratulations to the family! 🍼
