    My special guest at Leadership Launch! Loved being Verdis Wilson’s 1st grade teacher. His family moved & he went to a different school. Made me sad. Years later he contacted me! He has become a successful leader. We never know the impact teachers make. Let them know! #ProudSupt!

    Enjoying Fort Bend ISD Band Night! All 11 high schools performed to a stadium full of proud parents and community members. So much talent! Thank you Fine Arts Director Jim Drew and team. A perfect end to my first day as Superintendent! Thank you! Proud Supt!

    What an honor! Today we dedicated a beautiful new @FortBendISD high school. It is named after legendary educator Almeta Crawford. I greatly admire her, in fact, I’m a fan. Over the years, she directly impacted the lives of almost 9000 students! PROUD SUPT!

    So happy to support Elkins Teacher and Coach Sherman Batiste as he was honored in Austin today as Region 4 Secondary Teacher of the Year! Sherman was also supported by Elkins Principal Cynthia Ward and Deputy Supt Beth Martinez. What a special person and model educator!

    It’s a full circle moment getting to meet Mission West ES 4th grade bi-lingual teacher Jacquline Barbery! She attended MWE as a child, now teaches there and has her own child in the school. It’s exciting to see examples like this growing in our Fort Bend family! Proud Supt!
