- Last night, a Kittitas County Sheriff’s Deputy and a Kittitas Police Officer were shot during an exchange of gunfire. Sadly, the Deputy has succumbed to his wounds. Our prayers are with the Kittitas Sheriff's Department and the Deputy's family.
