Boss just told me to hand over my keys so another employee (who is banned from driving in the UK) could take my car for a work errand! I said it wouldn't be safe & it would be my car that would be damaged if anything went wrong! Got told I had to #bekind and work as #oneteam...

PA studies are *unaccredited*. This is a massive deal that has been swept under the rug Accredited courses have external bodies who come in to audit & review the content being taught to ensure it is of a high standard PA studies do not have this external audit process… 🤯 1/3

Guidance from @FPARCP on prescribing for PAs in GP "If the duty doctor is very busy, the PA will send an urgent message via clinical system so that the GP/supervisor can issue between patients" THIS IS NOT HOW PRESCRIBING SHOULD WORK! Not discussing scripts is so dangerous!

My concern has always been patient safety. This is not a win, but a dire warning as to the direction of travel of UK medicine No PA should be on any Dr rota. It's that simple PAs support, not replace
