- This afternoon EFD responded to calls of multiple capsized boats in the area of Clark St. Beach and Dempster Boat Launch. Eight boaters were rescued, with none requiring transport to hospital. All are accounted for and the scene is being cleared.
- Today Evanston lost Hecky Powell to COVID-19. Hecky was a wonderfully kind and generous man and a pillar of the Evanston community. Thank you for all you've done for Evanston and your support of the EFD over the years. You will be truly missed. #WorkEthic #communityspirit
