- Moving to eight classifications opens the door for smaller communities across North Carolina to experience games like this. Watauga has been dominant in the High Country for years, but could never quite get past the Marvin Ridge's, Reagan's, and Cox Mill's of the old 4A West.

Chadlyn Traylor had 8 brain surgeries before he was 12. For much of his youth he was medically unable to play the sport he loved.
