This is a FM MAG 7.62mm machine-gun with a rate of fire of 12/second. It’s meant to fired in short, aimed bursts. Here an IDF soldier sprays a whole belt of unaimed ammo into a neighbourhood. You can see it’s not the first belt because the breech is already scorching his fingers.

Jacob Flickinger, the US-Canadian citizen killed by the IDF while delivering food aid in Gaza, was a retired master corporal who served 11 years in the Canadian Army including a tour in Afghanistan. He was dad and sole provider to a one-year-old baby boy.

I was on this plane, present at both the aborted & final departures. No 🇮🇳 agent or dog set foot on board. Postmedia did not send a reporter on this trip, instead relying on non-credible rumours. This is a low for Cdn journalism. It’s embarrassing that it was published.

Much has been said about bombing in Gaza, but less about the way IDF uses smaller weapons. Here’s an IDF tanker spraying MG fire without looking or caring where it goes. 7.62 rounds can penetrate walls and can travel 4km+. This soldier also doesn’t appear to be under fire.

How the hell is Canada in a diplomatic war with India, which should be a democratic ally? New Delhi accuses the Trudeau government of an ""anti-India separatist agenda" and is threatening "further steps" against Canada. The Biden Administration has dealt with similar concerns

Two observations: 1. When you cover anything about India/Modi, there are too many trolls to even try to block. 2. Hindutva trolls sound a lot like MAGA. "Moron", "retard", "cuck", Pepe the Frog memes ... same energy.

A lot of this appears to done for videos the soldiers post to social media. Here a whole IDF squad fires into Gaza with 120mm tank shells, rifle & MG fire, and one soldier randomly launches a 40mm grenade. These soldiers are clearly not under fire or engaged in direct combat.

Under EA, police have no authority to arrest anyone who “resides, works or is moving through that area for reasons other than to participate in or facilitate the assembly.” The same force that failed to enforce laws for three weeks, now threatens to illegally arrest journalists.

As the son of a former military instructor: The behaviour in these social media postings is not that of a disciplined, professional, western military. This is absolutely not how the Canadian Army would conduct itself, and anyone who suggests it is knows little about the CAF.
