I should have slowed down a little bit 😬 To think that me walking in circles for nearly 4 hours could result in something so unbelievably positive for my community is making me cry happy tears. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
.@EvanDunfee of Team Canada wins BRONZE for the 50km race walk!!! 🥉 Here’s one more thing to be proud of Evan. In honour of your final race time of 3:50:59, we're donating 35,059 boxes of mac and cheese to the Richmond BC Food Bank in your name #KDRaceWalkers

🥺 I’m disappointed that I have to scratch from the 20km. We briefly held out hope of recovery but an MRI has confirmed the crippling pain I’m in is a fairly bad tear. I’m in the best shape of my life, I was focusing my training and preparations on the 20km and I wanted to prove

As a professional pedestrian in Richmond it’s fun to know that if I am murdered by a distracted driver while in a crosswalk that the @RichmondRCMP will blame me.

Elation. Today’s goal was to believe in myself as much as my family and closest friends believe in me. I wavered in the middle but found it again in the closing stages. It hasn’t quite set in yet. But it will. Thank you to everyone who told me I could do this ❤️

I owe so much thanks to @TeamCanada and @AirCanada! One thing I have been very nervous about since my hamstring tear is the flight home. Sitting is still very painful/ uncomfortable and a 9 hour flight was making me quite anxious. I reached out to our Olympic Team and asked if

Get the fuck outta here with this shit. Competing in a weight class 5kg lighter than Tokyo and she lifted the same 236kg! Inspiring Silver for Maude Charron is more like it!

Nooooo 😭😩 Ugh. My heart breaks for Damian. No height in the pole vault. The decathlon is so beautiful and so cruel. Still a superstar, still a hero, still one of the best role models Canada could ever ask for.
