- It doesn’t get much bigger than Radley vs Eton in the PE. A hard won victory for the VIII in today’s quarter-finals. Thanks for @RadleyBC for making it a classic @HenleyRegatta.
- Fantastic result for the VIII in the championships eights final @nsr_uk. It’s been ten years since ECBC won this event and to add it to wins in 2nd and 3rd VIIIs as well was very special.
- Sunshine, fresh air, flat water - what a great return to rowing today after three months away.
- Fantastic row from The VIII today to win the Princess Elizabeth Challenge Cup at @HenleyRegatta. A great race from @SPSRowing who pushed us all the way.
- Thanks to @WS_BoatClub for hosting us for the annual Eton vs Westminster fixture, first run in 1829. Hard won victories for both the Eight and Second Eight. Colts A had a good run out against @KCSRowing too.
00:00 - Target achieved. Eton rowers clocked up a total of 2407 km today as part of their fund-raising drive for children in Ukraine.
00:00 - The VIII did their best to match the speed of the St Paul’s first VIII in the final of the Princess Elizabeth Challenge Cup today but were unable to do so. Congratulations to @SPSRowing for their record breaking performance @HenleyRegatta.
- Sad to think of all the competitors who missed out on @HenleyRegatta this year, especially those school leavers who will never have the chance to race for their school again. Looking forward to defending the PE next year #HRR2021
- Another PE classic today. The VIII continue their winning run with a hard fought win over @ShiplakeRowing @HenleyRegatta. Final tomorrow vs Scotch College, Melbourne AUS.
- Well done to the GB U16 eight on their win in the GB vs France match. 5 St Paul’s and 4 Eton boys getting their first taste of international competition.
- Perfect conditions for our invitational head race this afternoon.
