- The verdict today was not a product of a *just" criminal system. It was the result of organizing, building, and protesting. And as we all know, there is so much more work to be done. In a truly just world, Ahmaud Arbery would be alive today.This #JusticeForAhmaud came from people speaking out & showing up. Remember we went 74 days without an arrest; this was never inevitable. Gratitude to all. To the runners, the #BLM activists, the preachers, the local citizens, all who said that his life mattered.
