As a Republican, I am ashamed so many in my party actively perpetuated the falsehood of a stolen election and then blamed others for 1/6. And I am even more disheartened so many in my party knew these things were wrong but were too afraid to say otherwise.

This is beginning to look less like mere incompetence and more like actual malice.

I read Prince Harry’s “Spare” last weekend + was struck by how the British press has unrelentingly, publicly tormented him. It’s vicious bullying that wouldn’t be allowed in most schools but somehow is excused bc it’s adults doing it for profit. Kudos to Harry for calling it out!

Some are criticizing Pres. Biden's promise to nominate a Black woman to the Supreme Court, arguing he should pick the "most qualified." There are many Black women who would be the "most qualified" + many who've previously been overlooked. #SCOTUS

Pointing out racism isn’t divisive. Racism is divisive.

"Systemic racism" doesn't contend all people are racist. It contends that systems (i.e., housing) were designed upon racist practices (i.e., redlining, restrictive covenants, steering). These systems then create quantifiable racial disparities (i.e., wealth, school districts).

It’s great that Andrew Yang is being included! He was a refreshing burst of positive energy in a pretty negative political environment.
And it’s official - we have been added to the DNC Convention speaker lineup! Thank you #YangGang and everyone else who made this happen! 😀👏🇺🇸#YangIsSpeaking

Andrew Yang is doing better than many of his opponents bc: 1) he tries to find something to like in other people, even opponents; 2) he talks to people, not at them; 3) he is championing a "big idea" that defines his campaign. This isn't an endorsement. They're just observations.
"We want to share his story with the world," Andrew Yang says of his autistic son, whom he talks about on the campaign trail #CNNSOTU

The real danger of hyper-partisanship is that winning and losing become more important than what is being won or lost.

Was wearing my #Illini shirt today and passed another person wearing his #Illini shirt. I said I-L-L, and he immediately said I-N-I in return. No matter where we are, true members of #IlliniNation always know how to respond! 🟦🟧
