Dunno about you but I fancy Russia to beat Kilkenny in next year's All Ireland hurling final.- Do intercounty football teams not practise kicking points from 40 metres any more?
- Rousing performance in the camogie final by @GraceWalsh1. No idea if she has any brothers, but they can hardly be as brillliant as her.
- Two hen parties and at least one stag party roaming Kilkenny today. FFS. Do people have actual shit for brains?
- Unusual venue for next Tuesday's CL clash, according to RTE Guide.
- Never mind her for Irish Sports Person of the year, how about Rachael Blackmore for Irish PERSON of the year? The barriers she's broken. The pleasure she's given. The money she's won me.
- Dicksboro not a 5/2 shot against Ballyhale Shamrocks on Sunday (which isn't to say they'll win, obvs). Ran into a member of the Dicksboro management earlier and told him they "should mark Colin Fennelly and TJ closely". He promised to think about it. No tiny detail escapes me.

- Is there a better co-commentator than @DaloAnto? Just compared Stephen O'Keeffe to a frisky young pup. Always funny, always informed and - important too - always fair.
