I will not post my photo of Gukesh or with Gukesh. But this is a very important one. Not sure, who shot it. Little Gukesh with his dad - who contributed so much to his rise. Gukesh spoke very heartily of it yesterday. Doctor Rajinikanth - kudos for your huge role in

Ain't Indian, but proud for chess having such an ambassador as Vaishali Rameshbabu.

    Tragic news. Can't believe.

A: FIDE did not ban Magnus from the tournament. He was not paired in round 9. He can continue tomorrow. B: We gave Magnus more than enough time to change. But as he had stated himself in his interview - it became a matter of principle for him. C: Rules are applicable to all

Arguably the best photo of the FIDE Olympiad in Budapest. Arjun Erigaisi is captured by Stev Bonhage.

I knew @rajachess was an excellent commentator. @anishgiri is outstanding, no doubt. @adhibanchess brings something special. @ReheSamay is a stand-up professional. But all this was expected. However @sagarchess1 is a real revelation. Fantastic broadcast, full of emotions and fun.

Gukesh wins his first major rapid tournament in the most convincing manner. Dispelling "his poor intuition makes him a weak rapid/blitz player" notion. I think Gukesh's modest results at faster time controls were mostly connected to his focus on classical chess. He played very

It is funny how some platforms/streamers downplay the "we can just keep making draws" case. Exactly as they downplayed Magnus' attacks on Vishy 3 days before. As it did not happen. Of course it is easier to fight me than Indian fans. Of course now they will try to shift focus

That is really unique. No human can really challenge engines today, but @vishy64theking just gave a simul to at least three engines.

Magnus : "If they like refuse, we can just play short draws until they give up." Isn't this match-fixing, @FIDE_chess? Dubov & Nepo were double forfeited last year for pre-arranging a draw, why wasn't similar action taken this time around?
