- My dear father, Francis, the oldest man in America, entered into the Lord’s presence at 12:26 a.m. yesterday morning. I was holding him and praying over him when he passed. He was at peace and free from pain. I’m so thankful to God for the 113 years He gave him on this earth.
- The legend lives on! Today we celebrate my amazing dad’s 110th birthday. So thankful to God for his full and rich life.
- Ever since Cain killed Abel, the sons of earth have continued to revel in death. As people rejoice in our President’s predicament and wish death upon him, may this display of unfettered depravity be a reminder of how so utterly broken our world is and how much it needs Jesus.
- When a nation glorifies sexual perversion, revels in senseless violence, murders babies by the millions, and spurns the holy name of God, we should not be surprised when it reaps the destructive consequences of the sinful seeds it has willfully sown.
- If you owed someone $100,000 and they graciously forgave you that debt, would it be hard for you to forgive the debt of a person who owed you $10? The severity of our sins against God are atrocious beyond measure. May His forgiveness toward us stir us to eagerly forgive others.
- We were all in awe when we celebrated my father’s 112th birthday in January, but he blew us all away when he hit the dance floor at my niece’s wedding on Saturday night! He’s a living marvel!
- The Pope’s affirmation of homosexuality is not biblical, it’s not kind, and it’s not loving. There’s an abundance of hope, grace, and forgiveness available for homosexuals—as there is for heterosexual fornicators and adulterers—but they must repent and believe the gospel.
- By the grace of God, he’s still going strong! Yesterday, we gathered around my precious father & celebrated his 112th birthday. According to Gerontology Wiki, he’s now the oldest man in America (& yes, I changed the original spelling of my last name for pronunciation purposes).
- Great-grandfather (112 years old) and great-grandson (2 years old)—110 years apart in age.
- For the Christian, there should be only one gear—high; only one temperature—hot; only one direction—forward; and only one ambition—the glory of God!
