This is the cafeteria of an AISD elem school, sent by a friend whose child attends here. Kids wear masks all day, sit behind plexiglass at desks, & eat lunch behind partitions. Her daughter is miserable. God help us for forcing children to bear the burden of our fear. #txlege

A Medicaid contractor, Superior HealthPlan, used Medicaid funds— intended for low income Texans—to hire a PI to surveil questioning lawmakers & sick patients who were denied care. It’s not just corruption. It’s a disgusting betrayal of every taxpayer and patient in this state.

🚨 HB 229, the Women’s Bill of Rights, has passed the Texas Senate! This common-sense bill simply defines and codifies sex-based terms like “woman” in TX state law. Now it heads to Governor Abbott’s desk where it’s expected to be signed into law.🙌🏼

Show up. Do your job. Stop wasting your time & our money. I was in the minority on ATX Council & still showed up to do the job I was elected to do. Even when I didn’t get my way. & I sure as heck didn’t pick up beer, board a private jet, & laugh at the taxpayers footing the bill.

The TX Supreme Court has ruled that #Austin’s order to close restaurants is unenforceable. Data clearly shows restaurants are NOT responsible for the spread of #Covid & they shouldn’t be political scapegoats. A huge sigh of relief the hospitality industry! txcourts.gov/supreme/orders…
