- I am no longer sports editor at the Acorn Newspapers. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey that started for me at the paper in 2007. It was a great run, and now, it's over. The next chapter begins now.
- We will miss Katie Meyer, a vibrant, intelligent woman and great soccer player. She played football, too. She kicked three extra points in Newbury Park's 42-7 win against rival Thousand Oaks Nov. 4, 2016. And, of course, she won an NCAA women's soccer title for Stanford in 2019.Can never forget this big mood ๐คซ๐
