- Replying to @Houston1JackieIts not that simple tho. I'm a nerd and an economics student. The increase in costs we are talking about is in cents. Further it gives more purchasing power to the lower incomes allowing them to buy more which is obviously better for businesses.
- Replying to @Elarbolpine and @Houston1JackieThe past few years inflation has risen at roughly 3% min. Wage has been stuck at 7.25 for almost 10 years. So, 7.25 in 2009 is 30% less than what it is now.

- Very common misconception. In parts of the countries that have risen their minimum wage they've gradually increased it. Many states begin with a min. Wage for small companies and one for large ones, then every year or two raise those by a $1 until you hit your target.

- It is cringe. Less than 5% of native spanish speakers use it, it doesn't even make sense in spanish and is very weird to say. Latine, is different and fine. But, yes the masculine plural is the grammatically correct plural of any group with multiple genders.
