- A few words on Vitalii Mykolenko. The left back cut short a holiday to report back to Everton early, accepted extra workload in the gym and has undergone intense one to one coaching at Finch Farm. A credit to himself with the defender in the form of his Everton career 🔵
- Dominic Calvert-Lewin tonight stepped on to that pitch with next to no training since Sunday, a strapped up knee (that was touch and go until the day of the game) plus then going down with a stomach bug. What a display from Everton’s number 9 🔵
- Jordan Pickford knows what it means to be playing in these games. It’s impossible to dislike him because of his tackle alone.
- Everton and Frank Lampard are in advanced negotiations to appoint the former Chelsea and England player as the new Everton manager, after another interview. Terms are now to be discussed between the two parties 🔵
- A huge breakthrough in talks between Everton and Lewis Dobbin. Both parties now appear to have reached an agreement, with Dobbin’s future now set to be at Goodison Park 🔵
- Everton manager Sean Dyche has ordered all of his squad to wear shin pads with match socks or trousers for training sessions at Finch Farm. Dyche believes it sets the tone for training and keeps standards high. Previous regimes saw players with bare legs and no shin pads 🔵
- Jack Grealish was sent for a scan last week and has played through the pain barrier to turn out for Everton’s last two games before the international break. Scoring a last minute winner today is just reward. A credit to his desire to make a difference for the Toffees 🔵
- All the very best to Sean Dyche and his staff for the remainder of the season. He’s been given a tough task and he’s going to need Goodison at it’s best each week. Let’s go out with a fight 🔵

- Michael Keane has not had the easiest of times at Everton and has found minutes hard to come by this season. No complaints, no training sessions missed and has been very patient. A brilliant display from the centre back with the team togetherness on show with the celebrations 🔵
