    I want to thank everyone here - too many to tag - for their kind comments about my coverage - I didn’t have the time to tweet while in #creeslough I thought of it once but it didn’t seem right - my heart breaks for each and every one of those suffering such enormous loss

    Time to pack up the @rtenews mic and camera. I've decided to retire early and start on the bucket list! It's been an honour to work as NW Corr for 34 years. Sincere thanks to all who shared their stories with me & my fantastic colleagues especially all those in the regions.

    It's just been announced that the #Sligo #stpatricksday parade has been cancelled - parade chair Finbarr Filan said the decision was made with regret but "the health and well being of our community is our first priority"
