- It is quite remarkable that @RishiSunak said yesterday NHS Dentistry was being provided with additional funds when @willquince and @NeilDotObrien both told @TheBDA there is no additional resource available Who briefed the PM for yesterday’s answer at PMQs?
- The NHS was founded on 5 July 1948. It’s 22 March 2024. And we’re seeing horrific scenes that should have been consigned to history. Decades of progress risks being lost. Don’t let this Government send the nation’s oral health back in time @TheBDA 38d.gs/SaveNHSDentist…
- Sorry @BorisJohnson when you said in PMQs there is record investment into NHS Dentistry I presume either you have been misinformed or there is funding we @TheBDA are unaware of ?
- Thanks to @TheGreenParty’s @AdrianRamsay and @carla_denyer for showing real leadership on NHS dentistry. This crisis is now a major doorstep issue. It will only be solved with real reform and fair funding.Chronic underinvestment has fuelled the crisis in NHS dentistry. @TheGreenParty have pledged reform, and access for all, underpinned by new investment. We have practices delivering NHS treatments at a loss. Every party needs to recognise that fair funding is fundamental.
