    This is Ben’s partner, Sara. I’m heartbroken to tell you that Ben died on Saturday, June 1 after a brief illness. He loved his family, being a journalist, rooting for the Yankees and the Commanders and so much more. He’ll forever be in my heart and will be missed by so many. 💔

    So our friends lost their sweet setter Pete today. He and some other dogs surprised a black bear while on a hike. Pete bravely protected the rest of the crew who got to safety. Pete later succumbed to his injuries. He was an older guy and went out a true hero. RIP PETE THE HERO!

    Pretty incredible that we've gone from "hoax" and "totally under control" to a best case scenario of 100K to 200K dead from the #coronavirus. We lost 115K in World War I.
