- Just in case you thought sea level was rising rapidly today, here is the graph of the sea level rise during the past 20K yrs since the most recent glacial maximum. Not a lot of change past 6K yrs. Mostly small up & down. Was about 1-2 m higher during Roman Warm Period 2K yrs ago.
- For all you fanatics who think the climate is getting “hotter”, consider this chart of temperature going back 65 million years. We are now in the Pleistocene Ice Age, the coldest it has been in 250 million years. There was no ice in the Arctic until about 3 million years ago.
- The journal “Lancet” published the chart on left with unequal Y-Axis to downplay fact that cold causes 10X more deaths than heat in Europe. Björn Lomborg corrected this with chart on right. This is disgraceful for a supposedly scientific journal.
- Replying to @AOCPompous little twit. You don’t have a plan to grow food for 8 billion people without fossil fuels, or get the food into the cities. Horses? If fossil fuels were banned every tree in the world would be cut down for fuel for cooking and heating. You would bring about mass death.
- Nearly every material we need for our survival is made from rocks, trees, & fossil fuels. City people tend not to know this or ignore it. They oppose mining but live in concrete, steel, glass, & wooden buildings. They oppose fossil fuels but would die in droves without them.
