- Great news! Former Eastwood XC and track standout Daniel Bernal made a bit of history today. With his 47th place finish, he becomes only the second El Pasoan since Alan Culpepper in the 1990s to have a top 50 finish at the NCAA division 1 cross country finals. Congrats Daniel!
- This doesn’t happen to often. Today, Coach McLain was honored at the State XC meet for being the 2021-22 State Coach of the Year! Coach McLain, the El Paso and Eastwood community is proud of you!
- It’s official! New School Record Alert! Adelynn Rodriguez breaks the school record in 3200 with a time of 10:51.33. She eclipses Ana Mora’s previous time of 10:52.86 set in 2015. Great job Adelynn!

- Congratulations to the varsity girl’s 4x800 relay who earned first place at the Chandler Invitational. They ran a time 9:43.83 which broke a school and CITY record 9:58.10 held by the great 2012 Coronado squad. Great job Adelynn, Salma, Sophia, and Lauren!
