Your East of Scotland twitter admin has 3 daughters who play football. If and when they sign for a senior team it would be one of the best days of their and my life. So to Skye Stout from real football fans, congratulations on signing for @KilmarnockWFC Wish you all the best.

It's not East of Scotland football but if your team won or lost it doesn't matter. Football won this weekend.

Here you have it. As shameful an announcement as any previous disgrace in the very murky annals of the Scottish football environment we're all mug enough to invest in emotionally and otherwise. It's a struggle to comprehend, quite honestly.

Here they are, finally. Our 2020/21 leagues. Fifty clubs, aspiration aplenty. Let's hope our collective expectation's realised in a season to remember, as the pyramid strengthens. Many challenges ahead, certain the will's there to meet them head on. Can't come quick enough.

STEVEN MacMILLAN This morning's devastatingly sad news of the Stoneyburn secretary's death at the age of only 42 overshadows all else today. Tough to take in. Extending sincerest condolences to the MacMillan family and everyone at Beechwood Park on their loss.

SEASON 2020-2021 - AN UPDATE At a board meeting held last night via Zoom, it was confirmed our league campaign will start as scheduled this weekend. Ultimately, predicaments faced by delaying further are greater than the challenges clubs face by playing under existing protocol.

As pointed out in BBC commentary, 6th tier Bluebell gave the runaway League 2 leaders a tougher game than most of their league rivals. Great effort the club have every right to be proud of.
Full time @dbjfc1938 1-3 @queensparkfc after extra time. We wish Queens Park all the best in the next round. We gave it our all and we are so proud of the team 🔵🔔

Well! Quite a day for our league today as both @BroxburnAthFC & @PenicuikAth made a mockery of bookies' odds in progressing to the Scottish Cup's 3rd round. 2800 characters couldn't do them justice, far less 280, so settling here for heartfelt congratulations - proud of you!!

A proud Tom Allison, newly installed as Honorary President of the East Of Scotland League, pictured after tonight's Easter Road meeting. 50 years at the helm of @lthvf, from amateur football to Scottish Cup participation, a stalwart of the local scene - tribute richly deserved.
