- BEING on an EYBL team doesn’t guarantee you a scholarship. PLAYING on an EYBL team doesn’t guarantee you a scholarship. PLAYING WELL might get you one though..

- When the parents start to genuinely root for other people’s kids on the team 🙌🏾🙌🏾 …its one of the signs that a group has a chance to be special.
- I gotta say it… At a time where earning a college scholarship will be harder than ever, high school kids are working way less and expecting way more. It’s an interesting dynamic that’s gonna leave a lot of people with high expectations in disappointment. The price went up.

- A HIGH high major coach made the following statement to me today about a kid that he’s made the decision to no longer recruit: “There is no doubt that she has the talent to play here. It’s just all the other stuff I’m not willing to deal with.” …there’s a word in that!
- I love a parent that can communicate their frustrations respectfully, is open to feedback/other perspectives, and willing to partner to create win-win solutions. Anything done TOGETHER, is done better.
