Today, we held the 16th annual EU-Israel High Level Seminar to combat antisemitism and foster Jewish life. It is a good opportunity to discuss current threats, challenges & opportunities to counter antisemitism and foster Jewish life. Antisemitism has no place in Europe.

While registration requirements are normal, Israel's new contested registration law goes far beyond that & must not be implemented in its current form. Israel must meet its obligations under international humanitarian law.

Devastated by the news of a terror attack in Kochav Yair, in central Israel, which killed a civilian and wounded several others. Our deepest condolences to the family of the victim & sincere wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured. Such senseless violence is never justified!
