McCollough finished with 24 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, two blocks and two steals. #ARPreps

- Just in case someone didn't know or maybe had some form of doubt...the high school basketball talent that comes out of Arkansas is pretty damn good.
- So many good games, as well as a few upsets, on Day 1 of state tournament play, but I couldn't lock in beforehand and can't even look back after the fact after the news I got this afternoon. Literally talked to my guy at 10:11 a.m. and texted him at 11:38 a.m. ... just surreal
- Man those small school gyms like that were so cool! Humphrey, Wabbaseka, Kingsland, etc...loved going to those places when I was young.I’m interested in learning about the history of Umpire, Arkansas basketball. Never heard of them until last night. Incredible gym… one of coolest settings in the state!
- Man, I literally couldn't believe the news about Coach Lofton. I've still got a voice mail in my phone from him, "Yo E, give me a call when you can and try not to work yourself crazy"... a true coaching legend.
- The game has officially been called. There was a brief melee where the entire Maumelle bench was ejected, plus a Hornets starter, for literally leaving the bench. That left Maumelle with just three players, leading the game to be called. Wow! #arpreps
