- Herbstreit when FSU is down: “This team is an embarrassment. I’m not being a hater, I want them to succeed. CFB is better when FSU is winning.” Herbstreit when FSU is undefeated: “This team is not that good and deserves no credit for anything.” Definition of a hater, buddy.
- Take the beating. Soak it up. Let them embarrass the backups who had the guts to play this game. Don’t turn it off. Don’t leave early if you’re there. Just keep fighting and supporting. They can humiliate us when we are down. But they can’t break us. Ever.
- In 2006, FSU lost at home to unranked Wake Forest 30-0. In 2010, FSU lost on road to #10 Oklahoma 47-17. In 2016, #2 FSU lost on road to #10 Louisville 63-20. In 2017, FSU lost on road to unranked Boston College 35-3. Let’s stop pretending this never happens to FSU.
- I can’t say enough about this team. I’ve rooted for FSU football for over 30 years. But I don’t ever remember a season where this team has ever been this maligned and disrespected by media but continues to come out on top of adversity like this. So proud of these guys. #GoNoles

- FSU gets embarrassed by Miami in 2019. ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit goes on a nationally televised diatribe about how FSU is among greatest brands in CFB history and must fix things immediately. When did ESPN analysts go on a diatribe demanding a return to greatness from Wake Forest?
- So there are no obvious CFB Committee rules that allow an undefeated P5 team to be kept out of the playoff… til FSU. Then there are no obvious NCAA rules that govern the Wild West NIL game participants… til FSU. If this ain’t some us against the world ish… 🤣

- Another thought on this… why are all the ACC team’ fans and media angry at FSU for saying what they all SHOULD be thinking AND saying too? Are they comfortable getting boatraced financially? OR are they just mad the only school keeping them relevant is yanking the carpet first?
