- The family of Club Legend Les Goodfellow have asked that we pass on the devastating news that Les passed away suddenly last night. Les was at Kirktonholme daily and never missed a 'YM game and will be sorely missed by everyone. Our thoughts are with Sylvia and the family.
- Absolutely devastating news that Honorary EKYM President Angus McConnell passed away this afternoon after an asthma attack. Angus was 90 years old on Saturday and has been at the YM for 74 years. The Club had secretly ordered a sign for our new pitch at Kirktonholme as a surprise
- Everyone at the Club would like to express our sincerest condolences to the family of Alan Paterson who passed away today. Alan played with and captained the YM Caledonian team. Our thoughts go to Julie and his family and his brother Ian who manages the GGPL team. Terrible news.
- East Kilbride YM FC are delighted to announce that at this afternoon's West of Scotland Football League AGM we were voted into the WoSFL for this coming season. This is a culmination of a lot of hard work behind the scenes by the YM Committee which now provides a player pathway
- After speaking with the family of Alan Paterson it was agreed we will show our respects to Alan, an ex player and captain of the Club, with a minutes silence before both games this weekend. Alan's brother Ian will represent the family at Kirktonholme for the minutes silence.
- We are delighted to confirm that today we received confirmation of a £350,000 grant from the SFA. This, added to the £300,000 (SLC - Place Based Investment) and £100,000 (SLC - Renewal Energy Fund) grants, brings the total to £750,000 for a new 4g pitch at Kirktonholme. ⚽️🍾🤩
