    CBS’ game between No. 3 Georgia vs. No. 7 Notre Dame on Saturday is the highest-rated CFB game on any network this season (avg metered market rating/share of 6.2/13). Also the highest on CBS in September since 2013 (Alabama vs Texas A&M).

    One of my favorite storylines to cover on all my time of covering #NotreDame Football. Made an unselfish move to defense when the Irish desperately needed him on that side of the ball, and looked what it turned into. Inspired by his parents. Kudos.

    Former DC Clark Lea led #NotreDame to 3 consecutive seasons in the top 15 nationally in scoring defense (13th-12th-14th) for the first time in five decades. His successor, Marcus Freeman, has the Irish sitting at No. 11 at the end of ND's regular season.
