    Hornets end a long drought and are headed to the State Tournament!!! They win Section 6AAAA by winning the second game over Wayzata in the second game 5-1!! Go Hornets 🐝!!

    College ball and Hornet alums. Today NIACC (Cooper Mollet ‘21 Will Couchman ‘22, Adam Berghult ‘22) at UST (Andrew and Matthew Enck ‘19) all on the field together. Great young men who represented EHS with class doing the same at the next level! Way to go men!

    Well that was a fun 5 minutes. Edina pitching strikes out the side. And then caps it off with a walk off bomb! Final 8-7 over Wayzata in 10 innings. Tomorrow against Tonka at Braemar 6:30pm. Keep it rolling Hornets!

    Down 6-2 in the 5th, Hornets battle back with 2 in the fifth and 5 in the bottom of 6th for a 9-6 win!! Back at it tomorrow at Braemar vs Buffalo 6:30pm. Go Hornets!!⚾️

    Wow! Twitter guy was to busy celebrating the walk off win in the bottom of the 8th, 6-5 over Anoka to get out a note! Hornets move on the semifinals and face Rosemount at 2:30 pm at CHS Field. Lots of great highlights of this great team effort!!!

    We didn’t get the win today. Hopkins moves on with a 7-3 win. This Edina group is a special bunch which is the toughest part when the season ends. The future is bright. One more shout out to our seniors for setting the foundation going forward: accountability family grit AFG⚾️

    Down 4-0 yesterday, Hornets rally twice to tie and then score 2 in bot of 8th to walk off 6-5 over a hard nosed Washburn team. Seniors win their final game at Braemar. Now it’s Southwest Tues 5/31 @ 4:30pm. All remaining section games are now at Hopkins high school. Go Hornets!⚾️

    Edina’s bats were on 🔥 for a big 15-1 regular season finale win against Buffalo. We end the regular season at 10-10 and 6-6 in the Lake Conf. Stay tuned for details on Monday section 2AAAA playoff game. Go Hornets!
