- A small announcement. I finished and submitted my PhD with the title: "Faraway water cannot put out the nearby fire: the continuity of political thought in China from antiquity to modernity". I passed the plagiarism software with flying colors. Now, back to seal carving.

Take Jin Yin Dao - Money Island - named after William Money of the Bombay Marine! - Replying to @DullClayCutterAlso, let me just say that I think the translation in the book is a bit awkward which is where the humor comes from. I'd say "Clutching the sword while lamenting the ways of the world" is a bit less ambiguous and works better in English.
