When an operator fails, a backup takes the asset over, and the machine keeps earning. Operator failure becomes a maintenance event. Twelve months of distributions across the portfolio, zero defaults. The borrower was never the underwriting unit.

The Boring Index is a 0-100 score, re-scored monthly across all assets. 65% of the signal comes from the machine itself: cycle counts, uptime, payment timing, maintenance frequency. The score travels with the machine, not the operator.

Every RWA protocol onchain still underwrites both. Somewhere in the stack there's a credit check, a KYC step, an operator attestation, a borrower-quality gate. DualMint underwrites the asset and the asset only.
